Hey Larry, I'll miss you on Buzz, but I'm making sure to add you to Twitter, RSS, and such so as to get my fix. If you like, I syndicate my Buzz now to its own Twitter account (so as not to create RSS spam in the main one): @JoshsBuzz. My main Twitter account, as you know is @josh_braun, though truth be told I don't log in all that much. I'm also toying with Miio (http://miio.com/JoshBraun). Thanks for the comment, Nick. At this time I anticipate turning off Buzz at the end of the week, which will likely obliterate my posts, but my Google Profile will remain. My blog and Twitter account are already listed there.

I am sorry you have had such a less than pleasant experience with Buzz. It is currently my primary venue for all things geeky and thought provoking, even if sometimes it can be a little quirky. I feel your pain and would be very interested in finding out more about status.net federation. I signed up a year ago and haven't been back since, but I am curious about what the services is like now. Buzz is like most Google services in that it always seems to be in Beta. I use Twitter but simply for News feed consumption. Most of the folks I know there I met in Buzz. Wave is another messaging service that I use (as you may know), but that is more communication not social stuff. If you do poke your head in from time to time give @Nick Waye a mention, I'll engage with you. But don't delete your Google profile it's a presence on the web you must maintain for the sake of your identity, the next battle for your social soul. It's also a good idea to go through the pain of connection your blog sites and Twitter account there of SEO purposes. Hope to see you on Wave and Twitter (@nickwaye).
